Prompt 1 – the intro 

Act as a digital marketing expert with background in the nonprofit space.

We will work together over this conversation to create a detailed audience profile for a nonprofit.

I want to make sure that we touch on demographics, interests, behaviors, channels for engagement and our core funnel for donor development.

Whenever you answer me let’s try to be tactical, straight forward and clear in communication and  aim to answer me with the best recommendations for whatever topic or question I’m asking you.

Before we proceed, I want to share with you a bit more about our nonprofit to give you context on what we do and what we work on.

We are Rainy Lives and we provide rain jackets and relief for families affected by rain and flooding. Our work consists in engaging local volunteers in areas of need and raising awareness and donors to support our on the ground efforts.

We seek to provide hope and support while raising awareness of rainstorms and flooding in areas around the world.

Our primary goal for this next season is to grow our donor base by 5000 new donors and reach more people online with our mission to bring hope to those in need.

Now that I’ve shared about our nonprofit with you. Let’s go ahead and create an initial audience profile so that we can reach our target goal.

Prompt 2 – Personas

Can you help me build out 3 personas for this audience. Remember that I want to see their demographics, interests, behaviors and what channels can I reach them more effectively.

Prompt 3 – Acquisition Email Funnel 

Help me brainstorm what a high converting email funnel would be for new donors for our year-end campaign fundraising campaign.

This specific campaign we are wanting to acquire new donors, so I need you to think through with me an acquisition strategy,  We are also wanting to engage with our current donor base and reactivate them.

Let’s split this into 2 steps and discuss each one separately.

Prompt 4 – Channel Mapping and Frequency  

Given our goal to expand our reach online and engage with more donors that are like the personas we discussed.

What do you consider to be an ideal frequency and in which channels should I invest time and focus on?
